Mr. Happy Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 Looks quite nice, you should clean up the windows and make them scratch free I think seeing as how everything else is so well maintained. Quote

Minos Posted August 30, 2010 Author Report Posted August 30, 2010 pre-final screens. I really need to move on to another projects, getting kind of burned out on this one! Modular pieces: Texture maps: Quote
Skacky Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 Great work Mino, really impressive! Quote
ElectroSheep Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 Really good work ! The only thing I dislike is those beam spotlight on the last screen. Quote
-HP- Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 I'm proud of my Minos <33 Good job dude! Very colorful, great usage of color. It's like a marriage of Mass Effect and Mirror's Edge, love it! And not only art wise, the execution is flawless. A good 3D Artist should know how to create modular / design friendly asset for level building and you just proved you have this skill nailed with this scene. Edit: Rotfl, I just realized that you posted the final version of the scene on your 5000 post! ah ah, n1! Quote
mjens Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 I like the colors, nice palette but for me the ads with huggin people ruins the mood. Maybe put there a company logo? Now it looks like a scene on the metro in Berlin Quote
Jenn0_Bing Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 I simply love this, sort of reminds me of a cleaner Chronicles Of Riddick game style. Quote
Steppenwolf Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 Looks awesome Minos! A few small things you could improve for your portfolio shots tho: In the first pic: - have some sort of futuristic skyline in the background to add more depth - reduce the brightness outside, right now it looks as if all the inside light sources arn't really necessary since the sun is still shining outside - use a different texture for each of the ads - the white font signs look super bright yet they don't seem to emmit any light to the surrounding. Minos Posted August 31, 2010 Author Report Posted August 31, 2010 Thanks everyone Looks awesome Minos! Nice points! I'll definitely improve the ads. Some people on polycount requested hi res pics, here they are: Quote
twiz Posted August 31, 2010 Report Posted August 31, 2010 Omai, very nice minos!! One thing that is a bit confusing to me is this: I'm not sure what's going on here, it doesn't make sense geometrically. An artifact of geometry/uv stretching/viewing angle/lighting? I don't know, but it scares and confuses my fragile mortal mind. The next one down(with the awesome giant light in the center) also suffers from this weird geometry look, I still can't decipher what's going on tho D: Quote
