Although some of the technical details still sound somewhat wonky to me, then it sounds like the end result is pretty striking. Sounds like LA Noire is going to lead the charge with this tech, very interested in seeing if it's as great as everyone is making it sound. Doesn't exactly sound like a cheap way of doing it though. Proper old-school motion capture setups can still be a somewhat pricey affair, and from the sound of this then it sounds like a bit more significant investment. Sentura Posted June 27, 2010 Report Share Posted June 27, 2010 it's not really surprising, the tech for it was already out there. this is just the next evolutionary step for capturing live video and making them into 3d models. i'm glad they took the time to do it though.
