I don't believe we have a thread for references yet, so here it goes.

References is everything in our line of work, you can never have enough references when making levels (Whether you're making art or design), so please share you're references libraries / links!

Good stuff. Was looking through these recently, planning a L4D2 campaign. Here's a couple of reference sheets of a steelworks & limestone caves mostly in Alabama (for the southern theme) taken from Flickr. Probably won't be using them:

Never underestimate simple image searching at flickr. Not all images are available in large sizes for download, but I've never been let down.

Cool. Is there any way to keep images at full resolution on DropBox?

They are stored in full resolution, after you click on a thumbnail, a pic will open with the size of your screen, if you want to see the real deal, click the button "Full size" on the lower left hand of the pic. (Maybe this button should be a little bit more visible tho)

I've gotten a few gems from this photo pool. And it's pretty active. I have it set up on an RSS feed and it ticks in between 50-100 photos a day
