D3ads Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 I remember talking to Jennifer on IRC back in the day, didn't realise she looked like that, dammmn brain, beauty and an interest in videogames, every nerd's dream Quote
dux Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 The amount of man spunk flowing through here is startling. Quote
-HP- Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 ah ah, I beg to differ when it comes to women liking video games. it's probably interesting to date a woman that likes games, but I believe it's better if she doesn't! Cos if she doesn't, she will help you find a better balance in your life, and slowly take you out from your geek-hole. It's good if your soul mate likes the same musics you do, the same kind of movies, the same color, etc, but for many of us here games are more than a hobby, I would take it to the extreme even and say for some it might even be an obsession (It sure is for me) so it's good to have someone around to ease that up a notch... ...and to cook dinner! Sorry, had to... Quote
D3ads Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 I would say it's better to have a non-gaming gf too, for the reasons you stated and because if you do try and get her into them a bit it might help you to bond more with a shared interest in one's hobbies. Quote
Skjalg Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 A mate of mine has a gf who plays computer games a long with him. The drawback is that he always have to play with her. Quote

Buddy Posted August 22, 2010 Report Posted August 22, 2010 Yes it's useless in it's essence. I question the reason for it's existence. Quote

AlexM Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 Main use for twitter for me: I follow all the websites I tend to visit, who post their news on there. That way I spend about 5x less time browsing sites when they are all congregated to twitter. Quote
AlexM Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 Thats what RSS feeds are for yeah basically it's an RSS alternative, it seems more sites use twitter than RSS though :x Quote
mjens Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 Twitter is trendi, simple in use, great for blondes. Quote
