ah ah, I beg to differ when it comes to women liking video games. it's probably interesting to date a woman that likes games, but I believe it's better if she doesn't! :)

Cos if she doesn't, she will help you find a better balance in your life, and slowly take you out from your geek-hole.

It's good if your soul mate likes the same musics you do, the same kind of movies, the same color, etc, but for many of us here games are more than a hobby, I would take it to the extreme even and say for some it might even be an obsession (It sure is for me) so it's good to have someone around to ease that up a notch...

...and to cook dinner!

I would say it's better to have a non-gaming gf too, for the reasons you stated and because if you do try and get her into them a bit it might help you to bond more with a shared interest in one's hobbies.

Main use for twitter for me:

I follow all the websites I tend to visit, who post their news on there. That way I spend about 5x less time browsing sites when they are all congregated to twitter.
