Jetsetlemming Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 http://www.wolfire.com/humble Pay what you want sale, with options to divide the money you choose to pay among the developers, the developers and charity (EFF, and Child's Play), or just charity. All five games are included for what you pay, and all five games are TOTALLY AWESOME. If you don't take this offer you literally hate everything good in the world. All five games also run on all platforms: PC, Mac, and Linux. Also don't be a jerk and just pay five cents or something because there are fees involved that comes out of your payment from the website used to pay. If you go buy this deal you can then turn around and go to the Penumbra website, http://www.penumbragame.com/buy.php and you can get the Penumbra Collection (Overture, Black Plague, Requiem) for $5, which is also totally sweet. Definitely also do this deal. Also the downloads on the Wolfire site are fantastic. I got 2.3MBps download getting Aquaria and Gish (I already own WOG and Penumbra and don't have any interest in Lugaru yet). Quote
Jetsetlemming Posted May 5, 2010 Author Report Posted May 5, 2010 http://www.frictionalgames.com/site/node/101 The Frictional Games team added another deal to the Humble sale- if you buy it you not only get a discount on the Penumbra Pack, you can preorder their next game, Amnesia, for half normal- $10. Sentura Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 i am really curious in the statistics of this. which game would be the most download of all 5? Quote
AlexM Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 I would guess world of goo. It's on a fair amount of platforms. Quote
Sentura Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 I would guess world of goo. It's on a fair amount of platforms. these games are on all pc platforms, i hardly think there'll be a difference because of lack for support for other platforms. Quote
AlexM Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 I think I misunderstood your question. I thought you meant something along the lines of what sole the most (world of goo is on Wii and Iphone I believe). I mean if you already paid for it, wouldn't you get all 5? Quote

I mean if you already paid for it, wouldn't you get all 5? i already bought world of goo over steam, so the only game i was interested in here was aquaria because of the rave reviews it got back in the day. i'm wondering if people would pay less for the package and then just download one game rather than take all five. not that they are not allowed to. madgernader Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 They extended the time on the bundle because Aquaria, Gish, Lugaru, and Penumbra Overture are going open source! Lugaru has had its code released already and the others are on the way apparently. Samorost 2 was added to the deal as well so you get 6 games now. Quote
Jetsetlemming Posted May 12, 2010 Author Report Posted May 12, 2010 Penumbra Overture [is] going open source! Yaaaaayyyyyyyyyy I've wanted to play with that engine for so long : Quote
