Mazy Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 I'm gonna reserve judgment until I actually see something from it that isn't split second glimpses. I know it's the popular opinion to just bash everything that smells of Treyarch, but who knows? They might've stepped up their game significantly in the wake IW stuff. Overall I do agree though, holy fucking shit Jim, the horse is dead EDIT: Since no one seems to have posted it: Quote
Buddy Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 It will sell propably, generic gamer cant tell who developed MW2 anyway. And this looks like we're going to have missions/flashbacks like in hitman: contracts or something Quote
-HP- Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 This teaser almost feels like a direct sequel to the ending of MW2, given how it ended. Quote
D3ads Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 *flatline* "We need to bring him back..." ...Hey there Mr Super duper marine type person, but in the words of Ralph Wiggum, 'that's unpossible' unless of course you throw the realism factor out of the window and it turns into Wolvenstein: Modern Cyberware  Quote
e-freak Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 Seems to be the last one guys so appreciate it! i'd say it's not gonna be the last one for sure. at least activision currently rebuild theyr structure and CoD is the only ip that has it's own buisness sektor within theyr company (apart from Blizzard IPs) Quote
-HP- Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 Oh, make no mistake, this is not going to be the last CoD. And, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsAOyRG0Ig4 Quote
e-freak Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 that analysis failed pretty hard. "another helicopter, helicopter, helicopter"... he misses most of the important points and even gets the steyr aug wrong as a "so new weapon like mw2". jeez if you're trying to look smart, check your references dude. they aug is developed since 1960 and mass production since 1978 which is only three years after the end of the nam war. Seldoon182 Posted May 1, 2010 Author Report Posted May 1, 2010 Still dev on id Tech 3? Looks like Treyarch switched to UE3, right? Quote
deceiver Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 Probably the same engine as MW2 which is just a heavily modified quake3 engine iirc? I doubt they'd switch to another. Quote
-HP- Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 Yeah, it looks the same engine. I noticed the same warpy muzzle flash on the weapons, like this: Quote
Sentura Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 mapcore: identifying engines by muzzleflash since 1899 Quote
Duff-e Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 looks more like a time warp than a muzzle flash Quote
