tfg Posted December 5, 2004 Report Posted December 5, 2004 I'm seeking a source engine mapper and 3D modeler (3dsMAX or SoftImage) to join our movie team. "A movie? wtf?" you say? Yes, making machinima films is a great alternative to creating a full blown MOD. A film shows off your talent to an en even bigger audience (even outside the gamer realm) and doesn't require long term commitment. Often modeling/mapping for film is even more challenging too. So, if you're tired of working on dead end MOD teams, or want a new challenge, come work with us. We've got several award winning projects under our belt including Militia2 (mapped by Mojo) and the recent ClanWars (mapped by Daano). Due to the movie-friendly nature of the source engine you can expect source-movies to become just as frequent as MODs, so get it in on the action with an experienced team. The new project in development is a futuristic action-thriller. Combine the movie "The Fugitive" and the TV show "24" - and you have a basic idea of film. The film will have all original content and characters. We are ambitiously moving into source engine based films with the knowledge that it will lead to bigger opportunity than ever before. contact: daniel.frome@gwfilms.com - include your location, previous experience, and any demo items you may have
