Just got released for everyone. Was wondering what the hell Bizarre would do with this and turns out it's a lot better than I'd ever have expected. It's pretty much Mario Kart with real cars but it's fun as hell.

Kicking the shit out of people and then having your gamer card flashed in their faces is pretty much the greatest thing ever.

I played it on the show floor at E3 last year. It was kinda fun in an arcadey way as Erratic said. I'll check out the beta on XBL. Thanks for posting about it.

Downloaded the demo yesterday (Why the fuck does everything have to be called betas these days? ), but I haven't tried it out yet. I just remember it getting a bit of negative press, and for someone who's a fan of the PGR games then it did seem like a kinda turn in a slightly less appealing direction.

Anyway, will check it out when I get home~

I could play PGR releases till the end of time and I was weary of how this would turn out when they first announced it, but I kinda welcome the change.
