Buddy Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 Erm, CS4 features also looked amazing on paper and videos and turned out shit in the end. This lookes nice but i will praise it when it ships and actually works. Ah and they actually released this video a week too early Quote
Chunks Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 Holy crap that's awesome... Is this out now? IT at my work is finally ordering me creative suite... I'm going to be pissed if I end up with cs4. edit: on a related note I seem to remember some guy(s) who developed a plug-in for cs that looked performed remarkably similar to this... I wonder if they went on to work for adobe? I'll try to dig it up. Quote
Section_Ei8ht Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 I was more impressed when it was presented in its original form: (if I remember correctly the guys that wrote that now work at adobe). This just seems like an extrapolation of that original functionality, only this yields more texture repetition due to the nature of the operation (an area at a time, rather than a 1-pixel-width line at a time). Thanks for the leg-work, that's the link I was looking for. Quote
Psy Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 Clay Davis is the sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. ON-TOPIC: Imagine if this demonstration was running through CUDA. That would be a major kick in the balls for ATI users. Quote
Gloglebag Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 CS4 is fine, tabs are great. Just don't run it on your netbook. Quote
Pericolos0 Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 best thing about CS5 is that it wil finally have brushes that can smudge as well.. great for painting! Been waiting on this feature for years =). Quote
