Corwin Posted April 26, 2010 Author Report Posted April 26, 2010 Thanks for the advices, like I said though, I'm just finishing up a small project, not the type that's going to take months, I should be done pretty soon. Then I'll worry about getting employed Quote
Ginger Lord Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010 Heh, I guess it's in part cause I'm stupid enough to wanna try and "be prepared" before I apply, although I may never feel ready enough I started work at Crytek without ever opening Sandbox...although I guess you'd be more Level Design rather than Design like me. -HP- Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010 Furyo also joined Crytek without never even open Sandbox. It's a very nice editor, and very easy to learn too, takes 2 or 3 weeks tops. Quote
Corwin Posted May 20, 2010 Author Report Posted May 20, 2010 I didn't mean to say I needed more practice with the editor, I just want to raise my chances to impress a possible employer by adding variety to my portfolio. Since I'm fluent with the editor, it's going smoothly and I'll start looking for a job this summer. You'll hear more about all that in due time, since I'll be asking you all artistic types for advices pretty soon! Quote
