KungFuSquirrel Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Holy shit. Best. Marketing. Ever. Quote
Mazy Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Hehe cool. I ended up really digging the first game, even though I initially made fun of it and thought it looked extremely generic and cheesy, but it had some pretty crazy action going on. This new one looks like it could be some good fun too. Its actually kinda strange that this kinda video linking isn't used my frequently on Youtube. First time I saw it was some kind of fighting game that you could actually play via Youtube, as in punching and kicking, and you had a health bar and all. Quote
Warby Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 yeah the first time i saw this dragon slayer style multiple choice thing on youtube was with a street figther clone definitely works great for this marketing campaign ( although i did fail my mission for taking the scenic route D: ) Quote
Daze Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Looks like Avalanche will really be able to pick themselves up with this one Quote
Hourences Posted January 16, 2010 Report Posted January 16, 2010 That is cool. I hope it works out for them, would hate to see them go down. First one was quite enjoyable, bit frustrating and repetitive at times but still fun. Quote
sarge mat Posted January 16, 2010 Report Posted January 16, 2010 That's really cool. I did enjoy the first one more for just flying about if anything else. Quote
Sentura Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 yeah the first time i saw this dragon slayer style multiple choice thing on youtube was with a street figther clone definitely works great for this marketing campaign ( although i did fail my mission for taking the scenic route D: ) haha i did the same thing. but i don't know if multiple choice gives anything else but having gameplay your way. i mean, if the narrative has to be continuous, you'd need choke points where all paths meet anyway. i'd like to see a game where failing is actually an option (like it was in dune 2), and where it would bring about a different narrative. i see mass effect 2 may be doing something similar, but i'm not sure it'll be what i mean.
