MihneaLPS Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 Greetings. I represent Liquid Petrified Studios, an indie game development team based in Romania (we had some American members some time ago) working on a FPS game based loosely on the Quake series and other competitive shooters. It's mainly multiplayer based and it has many features like the combos (think Mortal Kombat), the melle weapons (Unreal Championship) or the story. Working on this project began 2 years ago, but we encountered a bunch load of problems, mainly because of unprofessional people ditching us after a few weeks. So we are searching for dedicated people, but we don't require to work all day and night. We just want people who give interest in what they are doing and are able to work with pretty loose deadlines. Positions: Concept Artists (there's not much work left on that department) Animators (we need those pretty bad) Coders Requirements: Concept Artists. We don't require a certain technique of drawing, and furthermore we accept pencil and electronic drawings. Whichever makes you feel good. Animators. We require of you to work in Studio Max or Autodesk Maya, and some imagination. Coders. We use C and C++ and Leadwerks Engine 2 ( http://www.leadwerks.com ) as our game engine. Additionally we are working on a few other small projects. Contact: Email me - arafel.h@gmail.com Our website - http://www.liquidpetrifiedstudios.com Media: These are some concept art we have. MihneaLPS Posted January 6, 2010 Author Report Posted January 6, 2010 Forgot to put job details (woops) We can't offer any type of payment at this time, so all the work you'll do is from your home, at any time of the day.
Skjalg Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Oh so its a mod? Since you introduced yourself as coming from an indie dev studio, and not like a group of home developers I immediatly figured this was a paid job, but I see now that you posted this in Non-Professional Recruitment so thats my bad Good luck with the recruiting!
