I'll change it if you like Duffy, it should change any past occurrences of your name.

I can vouch for employers doing this. In fact, they had my name typed up in Google on a computer next to the interview area while I was sat down for the interview! With that said, I think all but the most serious of companies isn't going to take what they find too seriously — everyone has a social life and acts in a way they'd never act in a professional setting, after all.

Getting rid of particularly incriminating things is probably for the best, but as long as you don't act like a serious moron on the web I doubt you'll face any real repurcussions.

Ahaha this thread reminds me of a phone call I received from a worrying mum. She had tried to search for me on google and found the awesome videos of me not beeing able to put a car into gear and sliding downhill on the road on the ice (damn you google and youtube!!).

But yeah, any game employer that is looking for a 100% serious character to join their ranks are looking for the wrong guy.

If a company is willing to perform in-depth research such as checking out forum posts then I also assume them to be qualified enough to know not to trust everything on the internets. If not, then I couldn't care to work for them anyway.

Nice play on Wall-e, Duff-e! ;)
