Bic-B@ll Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 there are tvs with built in web browsers? neat. i have no problem plugging my tv into my laptop via hdmi (ati, not tv problem), though i have to use separate cables for my speakers, but i would have used them anyway Quote
Sentura Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 i have no problem with hooking up my laptop to my tv with hdmi. it's great for watching movies Quote
Skjalg Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 i have no problem with hooking up my laptop to my tv with hdmi. it's great for watching movies Yeah, but I cant get the sound to work and I've tried every fucking guide google has to offer. Simply switching the output in windows worked ONCE, but never after... Samsungs new TV's comes with internet shizzle, but since you aint got the budget for those new tv's (800+ euros). Then I say go for an LG like" LG 32" LCD-TV 32LH4000" Quote
Bic-B@ll Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 supposedly nvidia video cards cant do sound out over hdmi and only some, probably the newer/better ati cards can, mine cant (hd 3650). plugging in speakers is pretty easy though. ive got an iphone app that i use as my keyboard Quote

Ginger Lord Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 Nice, we have the posh version of that at home with Freesat built in for HD goodness. Excellent TV. Quote
Skjalg Posted December 26, 2009 Report Posted December 26, 2009 NIce 42"! I admit I was a little afraid you'd go for something small like the LG I posted Quote
Warby Posted December 27, 2009 Author Report Posted December 27, 2009 okay this thing sis an absolute catastrophe !!! HANDS OF THIS TV ! the red and green channel are always lagging behind the blue chanel which separates you picture into 2 which is a laggy flicker mess when playing games ! HORRIBLE ! its going back to the store ! Quote

Of all the things the iphone does, that's the one that the most people are blown away by. I've since got a wireless keyboard/mouse, but it was fun while it lasted Quote
