DONTNOD Entertainment, located in Paris, France is looking for several Game / Level Designers of all levels, starting early 2010.

We’re working on an unannounced action title for HD consoles, using Unreal 3 Engine.

This is a full-time, on-site job position. No freelancers or remote contractors.

Responsibilities

  • [*:37xqeiwe]Design, prototypes, iterations on solid gameplay mechanics
    [*:37xqeiwe]Tweak, tune, balance of the game mechanics
    [*:37xqeiwe]Design, build, iterate on levels from conception to shipping along with the art team

Skills we’re particularly looking for:

  • [*:37xqeiwe]Excellent problem solving skills
    [*:37xqeiwe]Ability to work closely with the game design team, and the environment art team
    [*:37xqeiwe]Advanced Gameplay scripting skills (FSM).
    [*:37xqeiwe]Good written documentation skills.
    [*:37xqeiwe]Ability to easily communicate design ideas
    [*:37xqeiwe]Ability to quickly iterate on designs
    [*:37xqeiwe]Unreal, Radiant or Hammer experience

DONTNOD Entertainment is a Paris based independent video game studio founded in August 2008 by Hervé Bonin, Aleksi Briclot, Alain Damasio, Oskar Guilbert and Jean-Maxime Moris.

In 2008 the studio won the French Innovative Companies Competition prize for its 3D real-time fluid simulation technology.
