e-freak Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 For a current project I need to export to B3D (irrLicht Engine). How ever the only working Exporter is written for 3Ds Max 2008 and below. I'm sitting on a machine using 2009 and university is using 2010 so both versions don't work. Has anyone still a TRIAL installer (i'm not asking for any illegal cracks/serials here) of the 2008 version (or max9 or max8)? i'd go more into detail but the project is from an outside company given to our student team and i don't want to mess with the NDA. -HP- Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 Download a cracked version, install it but don't crack it. Quote
e-freak Posted December 9, 2009 Author Report Posted December 9, 2009 was thinking about this as well, BUT - if I seed don't I republish the crack as well and therefore am guilty of uploading the crack as well? Quote
-HP- Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 Torrents are so 1999. Use rapidshare. (Not that I use any of those) Quote
Lord Ned Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 I'm starting to get ticked at Autodesk for this. None of their maxes are forwards compatible as far as filetype (So I can't open a 2009 file on 2008), and the plugins aren't backwards compatible. I can see why the plugins wouldn't necessarily be compatible, but instead of refusing to run it should at least try... And if I were to try and help multiple people (All on different versions of max since no one has the money to upgrade every year ) you'd need multiple max installs... Argh. Quote
Schmung Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Might be worth trying blender or milkshape? They might have working plugins so you can export it. Quote
