Pampers Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 DICE used ue3 for mirrors edge didn't they? Quote
Mazy Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Aaahhh you're right! I take it back then! It makes no sense why they aren't doing this on UE as well! Quote
Gloglebag Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 I'm thinking EA might go ahead and market this as a feature! MoH has 2 engines, for twice the graphics power of one. Quote
Seldoon182 Posted January 27, 2010 Author Report Posted January 27, 2010 I'm thinking EA might go ahead and market this as a feature! MoH has 2 engines, for twice the graphics power of one. sp = UE3 mp = Frostbite Engine ps: trailer is UE3 footage! Quote
Pampers Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 I wonder how DICE plan on making Battlefield 3 stand out from the Bad Company series and the MOH-mp now. Quote
Marcos Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 Looking forward to see how they'll pull of this kind of setting. For sure it gives some constrains regarding what kind of missions, settings ect. but if they manage to "renew" the genere like MW did, this setting might just be spot on brilliant (as st0vle said, there is alot to choose from). Maybe i'll recognize some places And great to see that SF isn't represented as Arnold with a moahawk haircut and pilot glasses Quote
D3ads Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 Uhm... This looks like.. Plastic? It's like Doom 3 all over again huh? Quote
D3ads Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclu ... l-of/63075 Damn, this is looking quite impressive, actual open space environment with apache flying.. win! Quote
Section_Ei8ht Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 That actually looks pretty good. Definitely could give MW2 a run for its money. I wonder if this modern war game will also have an over abundance of the phrase "Oscar Mike"... Quote
Nineaxis Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 Uhm... This looks like.. Plastic? Have to agree, all those screenshots look like plastic. Quote
Thrik Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 It does look weirdly smooth, but in motion it looks fantastic thanks to the well-used dynamic lighting. Quote

mjens Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 Screenshots looks plastic and photoshoped Look at the jackets or the explosion - it's just to 2D... Trailer looks a lot better IMO! Quote
