Sorry guys, but I LOVED THE TRAILER. Thought the music was really awesome, the cutting of the scenes to match it was brilliant.

I'm so glad they didnt go with the cliche of having orchestral music in the trailer LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!.

I gotta admit that I actually thought it was a pretty cool trailer as well. The cut with the scorpion that hammers the ground and the music matching was kinda cool ARRRGH JUMP WITH SWORDS!!!

Anyway, never saw the original but I figure this is much more catered to a new audience

It seem like the music is a love or hate thing, but since Liam 'ownerman' Neeson is in this movie, then It's almost certain to kick ass.

1) I hated the music in this trailer. I can see why it works for some people, but it felt distracting to me. Not sure what the right music would have been though.

2) Yes, Mazy, ARRRGGG to jumping sword shot

3) Original is a must see cult classic. It does not hold up well over time, but still a must see. It has this creepy awesomeness in a very campy way.

4) Legendary takes very, very calculated risks. I can't imagine them completely flubbing this after risking so much and getting such a great return with Batman Begins and then The Dark Knight. While the trailer has great geek fanboy appeal, I'm not sure it will carry a more mass audience even though it has a respectable cast ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0800320/) including the previously mentioned Liam Neeson and then Ralph Fiennes and the awesome character actor Pete Postlethwaite (who was snubbed an Oscar nomination for his role in The Lost World: Jurassic Park... )
