Sentura Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 how is it that this industry always attracts the most batshit crazy people on the planet? Quote
Warby Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 so wait he DID have the balls the go after ea because of mirrors edge ? i thought this guy was just a retarded bully but apparently he does have some balls ( which ea will kick to a pulp of course) Quote
robert.briscoe Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 I wouldnt say he has balls, he's just a greedy c**t Quote
Thrik Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 You have to wonder if he's actually plugged into reality. People like this need shipping off to Antarctica or something so they can't keep distracting the courts from handling real issues. Quote
-HP- Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 And this is mapcore turning into kotaku? Quote
-HP- Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 Industry gossip! I just don't think this kind of topics fits mapcore, this kind of stuff is not why people visit mapcore for. Quote

I just don't think this kind of topics fits mapcore, this kind of stuff is not why people visit mapcore for. Who cares what "people visit mapcore for" compared to "people post on mapcore feel like posting about this in the sub-forum in which it fits"? I mean, the biggest thread in Off-topic is about "things you bought". Do people visit mapcore to read what other people have purchased? I would think most of the forums outside the "Employment" and "Creative" sections don't really serve a purpose of attracting visitors compared to entertaining and interacting with current users. I think legal/copyright issues regarding games and game IP are really interesting topics, ones worth discussing. Quote

Sindwiller Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 Why the hell are you even argueing? That guy seems to be an utter retard, there's no doubt about that. People who go on to file copyright/name infringement lawsuits regularly are just as stupid and greedy as your corrupt policeman. Quote

Hourences Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 I think this kind of news is very important. The only way to stop idiots like this is to cause public awareness and public support, and the only way to do that is through topcs like these. This guy must be stopped, and everyone should know who he is, and why not to ever even considering speaking to him, let alone working with him. It is because of public awareness and support that we got a fund started up against people like this. It is because of public support that the guy got removed from the IGDA leadership. It is because of public support that EA took note and stepped into the fight, along with several others of his victims. Victims who now see their opportunity to get back at him because of public opinion against him, putting him in a weakened position, ready to be tackled. Read http://chaosedge.wordpress.com/ Quote
