Sprony Posted September 12, 2014 Report Posted September 12, 2014 Does anyone remember an old low budget sci fi, probably from the early 90's in which a guy falls in love with a sex robot and he needs to protect her. Or he has one but falls in love with a real woman. Can't remember, that's all the info I have. I'm being serious btw. Quote

Minos Posted January 10, 2015 Report Posted January 10, 2015 Not exactly low-budget but no AAA blockbuster either, Snowpiercer is a really cool post-apocalyptic movie with lots of original ideas. Worth a watch Quote
Warby Posted January 17, 2015 Author Report Posted January 17, 2015 I approve snowpiercer whole heartily its probably the best bioshock movie we will ever get ! Quote
Warby Posted January 22, 2015 Author Report Posted January 22, 2015 i have just binged 7 tiny awesome low budget sci fi movies: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2085059/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 all 7 episodes ( 40 minutes each one is feature length) are the PUREST sci fi i have seen in ages all of them explore a "how would society react to this technological advancement" scenario. I cant wait for this show to continue highest recommendation possible! Sentura 1 Quote
Minos Posted January 22, 2015 Report Posted January 22, 2015 Watched the first episode the other day and loved it, really looking forward to the rest of the season, some thought provoking stuff for sure. Quote
Warby Posted January 25, 2015 Author Report Posted January 25, 2015 might already be on a prviouse page but i have finally seen it: automata http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1971325/?ref_=nv_sr_1 this is the very definition of a HOT MESS this movie is as awesome as it is shit. i hope there will be fan edits because i think there is a great movie hidden in that footage. 5/10 southland tales http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0405336/?ref_=nv_sr_2 from the guy who directed donnie darko this got critically slammed when it came out and i dont quit see why i think its just as funny and messed up as donnie darko is i would say this is about the only good movie i know that has that dwayne johnson dude in it. 8/10 the box http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0362478/?ref_=nm_knf_i2 another richard kelly flick a lot less wired than donnie dark and southland tales but still super awesome once again slammed by critics which makes no sense to me its almost as if they purposfully wanted to end his career at this point. based on a twilight zone episode 8/10 Quote
