Still not as good as Doom 3, but It's getting there! <3 One thing I'm noticing though, Is the absence of specularity, metal should reflect a little bit more than it is right now, otherwise it looks like green concrete. But it might just be these screenshots! Other than that, I'm really happy to see this level of quality! I can really imagine myself working in a game like this.. you lucky bastards! I'm not really in a position to talk budget but we got over 220k from pre orders alone on top of the current investment budget. And Hp, trust me dood this engine does the best looking metal and spec maps I've ever seen. Quote

Keep on kicking ass guys! Hmm not sure if I agree, it looks like everything has some specularity but you'll notice that much more when running around I guess. I think generally games add way too much spec to stuff compared to how things look in real life. I'm really liking the diffuse look of this (and how polished the artwork looks! Every edge is nicely defined, dirt added in the right places etc). It definitely looks a lot better than dead space, and I like the look more than doom3 as well, but doom3 is a bit different style anyway. Doom3 still looks good but it's getting really old school and lowpoly looking compared to this =) Quote
