FrieChamp Posted December 30, 2004 Report Posted December 30, 2004 I don't know if you can model so complex objects like OL, but you sure do know how to texture them! WORLD OBJECT MODELER BATTLE !!! :megaman: Quote
marque_pierre Posted December 31, 2004 Author Report Posted December 31, 2004 Thanks for the praise. I am just a kid trying to learn really. I don't know OL's stuff, and yes I can model anything, although it is not something I strive to perfect myself in, my goal is that of the all encompassing texture artist - cartoony, realism, gritty, photo real, low poly, high end - Bring it on. Some day... Quote
marque_pierre Posted January 6, 2005 Author Report Posted January 6, 2005 Here is a bucket. Think for passing solids and fluids into. Yes, poor patients didn't have private toilets. So... Bottoms up! Sorry it is a bit dark... Quote
KungFuSquirrel Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 I might need that bucket to vomit in after that mental image... Looks great! Quote
marque_pierre Posted January 6, 2005 Author Report Posted January 6, 2005 Thanks KFS. Personally I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot tablet stylus! Quote
capone_adam Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 The best videogame bucket of all time. Quote
marque_pierre Posted January 6, 2005 Author Report Posted January 6, 2005 Another texture: an old EXIT sign, ta-daaahhhh! C&C is wanted... Quote
marque_pierre Posted January 6, 2005 Author Report Posted January 6, 2005 unf...naeh nah Which of course means...? Quote
kleinluka Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 I think you should make a scene with these objects. They look nice but seeing them in a scene would show if they work together in an environment Quote
marque_pierre Posted January 6, 2005 Author Report Posted January 6, 2005 Yep, Klein. We are almost there. I just need to finish 2-3 more things on my list and I can do my first whole location... Quote
marque_pierre Posted January 12, 2005 Author Report Posted January 12, 2005 Here is another one. A couple of old industrial washing machines which have stood around and lost a lot innards over the years. C&C, if you puhlease.... To preempt a lot of comments. Yes, there could be a lot more geometry on these babies, but they will not play a role in the story/gameplay, so they are kept fairly lowpoly for their role as background decorations. Quote
$poon Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 Yeah, nice one Marque. Perhaps you could show us the textures on their own? Then we could see how well you use the pixel space etc. Can't wait to see the environment itself, so far so good. Quote
