2d-chris Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 cool! Not much to say really. Whats next for you? Quote
sarge mat Posted October 4, 2009 Author Report Posted October 4, 2009 Thanks. Another l4d map a campaign this time to try out some scripting stuff. Going for something that a bit like the new dlc as in 2 chapters with plenty of detail. Quote
2d-chris Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 My advice now based on what I've seen is to really sit down and nail one mother of all maps! Spend literally a week on every room and within 2-3 months you'll have a really sexy map. It's safe to say you've got the gameplay and technical side down, so prove you can put together something that rivals a Valve retail level. Don't rush anything take longer than you normally would. Valve will constatly tweak the hell out of their maps and thats why they look slightly better ;] Quote
sarge mat Posted October 5, 2009 Author Report Posted October 5, 2009 thanks dude. Out of my room for the next few days so my desktop is in a box, so collecting a lot of reference and thinking about layout etc. Quote
sk3tch Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Dammit dude! That tree line still is the FUNK. Congrats on the release. Sometimes that's half the battle. Quote
sarge mat Posted October 16, 2009 Author Report Posted October 16, 2009 yea, I got really bogged down with that and the border area in general. Have to remember than for the one I am working on now and future projects. Thanks Quote
