-HP- Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Amazing seir, the tech is really good. I love how nicely modular the assets for the CoJ game are! Very nice to work with. Quote

mjens Posted February 28, 2012 Author Report Posted February 28, 2012 that scene he is building there how many drawcalls is that from that birds eye perspective he is working from ? That's me building it actually There are not so many instances after all still the that's a working viewport without any occlusion and performance tweaks. Can't tell you the exact number but I've seen a lot bigger scenes (more materials, objects not instanced plus some ai and physics) and it worked on PS3 just fine. Quote
KoKo5oVaR Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Man it's awesome, i thought you were actually building a level for a rts game at first Quote
knj Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Great seir, i love the vid but me alone, i have some hard time with the chromeED than again ain't got much time to work on it for now Quote
madgernader Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Does this mean potential for the editor to get released either for the cartel or for dead island?? I really liked messing around with Chrome4 and Bound in blood. Quote
Grimmsorg Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Looks really impressive, sent the vids round work the other day as we almost licensed ChromED but went with Unreal due the ChromED being really buggy at the time. Looking at it now though, I'd love to do a personal project using it. Quote
