Bic-B@ll Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 you're going to make an excuse? the thing needs metal, make some steel show somewhere, all you see is cement and its too redundant. maybe add some horizontal cables between the pillars and/or a steel guard rail along the outside wall. there should be some plantlife somewhere, maybe on the ledge or on the right edge of the road where the light is. there should be lights on the left side of the pic along the walls. it would be neat if it were a yellow and lit up the whole road area. there should be some crumbling of the wall too. the whole road area is just road and wall, same exact thing going around. RD Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 i dont know why Bluestrike, but your shots are always awesome Quote
Zacker Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 Yeah I agree on that there is little detail in that tunnel but it still looks great. As RD says that is just typical Bluestrike. I guess it's his background as carpenter or something which enables him to make things look good without any really cool things. Quote
Pericolos0 Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 bluestrike can capture the essence of a car tunnel like no one else can. Quote
Quakis Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 Resident Evil : Tension for Sven Coop - 70% Complete Map layout is completely finished and was made from scratch so it's very different to the last screens I showed. General Vivi Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 ill give you my real opinion when i see that hallway with the furniture and stuff Quote
Bic-B@ll Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 where did you get tha floor texture? Quote
curman Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 i can tell by that post that bic-ball is upset.. and demanding to know Quote
Quakis Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 To be honest, I can't really remember But it's a placeholder until I make my own textures anyways so if I'm using stuff without permission it will be changed...hopefully. Quote
Tailgunner Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 Been trying to do some d3 stuff today, came up with this hallway, btw: Dyn light ftw c&c welcome Quote
von*ferret Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 looks alright but kinda haphazard lighting in my opinion. Nothing is really lit properly, as though the lighting was simply there to evoke mood without any real thought to how it would be used in the real world. Not to sound mean or anything cause it looks cool, just not ver believable. I'm sure KFS will give you a more complete suggestion. Quote
insta Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 If you increase the strength of the white/blue lights on the side of the walls it would look better I think. Right now it's a bit too dark as ferret said. The architecture (from what I can see) looks good though. Quote
Section_Ei8ht Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 yeah, ferret pretty much nailed it. Quote
