KoKo5oVaR Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 that's an ambience matey, but maybe your floor is just a bit too .. "clean" ? Quote
Belgarion Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 very atmospheric, if a little dark. put some rocks and stones on the ground. that would make it a bit more interesting. You might make some kind of .. what's the word. off-shoots from the rock walls or something. just so they're not quite so up/down. it'll give them some depth. I never did make a "my house" map, and I was bored a couple days ago, so I figured I might have a go at it. I think it's turning out pretty well, except that most areas are over-scaled. Even so, it's a fun side-note untill I get Q4 installed (which arrived today). I've spent about 2 days on it so far. There are other areas in the house, but I'm not showing them because they are quite empty. Quote
von*ferret Posted December 21, 2005 Report Posted December 21, 2005 the normal map on the logs are WAY to contrasted. It makes them look shiny and wet and ... wierd. Quote

Schmung Posted December 21, 2005 Report Posted December 21, 2005 Bluestrike, methinks you need a bit more colour there. Very atmospheric, but somewhat bland at the same time IMO. Could be my work monitor though. Quote
Grinwhrl Posted December 21, 2005 Report Posted December 21, 2005 i hope your adding more props and detail in those areas Irish. Quote
