kleinluka Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Visually VERY nice. Good stuff insta. My complaint would be that it doesn't say WWII yet. Or Europe for that matter. It looks very sandy and duneish for being in Europe. First thing I thought when I saw the pics was Northern Africa. Either way it looks good. Looking forward to see more. Quote

insta Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 thats what spain looks like. I dunno where this maps supposed to take place tho Italy. Hopefully it will look a bit better once I add a 3d skybox, and get rid of the last few CS:S models. Quote
Spellbinder Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Insta that awsome dude! Have you ever concider doing something that looks like norway? Like in Bergen or Narvik or sumething. I think it would rock with a norwegian semi winter map. By semi i mean maybe just a little snow. On the top of the mountains and some in the city. Edit:I just recalled why i gave such an suggestion. I was thinking that you should have no problem at all to get hold of countless of photograph's of old buildings in that period. Spellbinder. Quote
Pericolos0 Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 looks fucking awesome insta but it needs custom models tho, or it will start looking completely generic in a while Quote
insta Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 looks fucking awesome insta but it needs custom models tho, or it will start looking completely generic in a while I've already made a 100% custom-made horse-shoe I'll also convert some of the brushwork to models, such as ceiling-supports, railings, fences etc. Thanks for the nice comments btw. Hipshot Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 It looks very good insta! Nice going with the HDR there, I used this to in a map screen a while ago, gives a pretty neat effect. Quote
