There are no handmade textures on those models. Its a hires model projected as a texture on a lowres model. Just like youd normally render normal-maps from hires models and project onto lowres models. Ill add a little dirt in PS but personally Id like to see how far I can get with more material like properties like a a reflective map and mask and some shininess

Looks sweet Nysautro. Are you going with brushwork only, or will you add models as well?

There will be alsow models. Like trees and apples. This is only the base for the map. The central point. The 2 towers will come on a platform in space where alsow will be some threes and apples that you can shoot with the gravity gun. I have mutch ideas but not mutch knowledge. This map is for me a way to learn mutch about modeling and texturing.

Just 3 days now until I can start adding detail-models :)!

Edit: Oh yeah, and I've started displacementmapping the roofs, although that doesn't show in these screens.
