arhurt Posted June 22, 2010 Report Posted June 22, 2010 Very clever to light them up to signify they don't accept portals. Can't you place some invisible brushes there to have them affected by the portals though? Quote
Pericolos0 Posted June 22, 2010 Report Posted June 22, 2010 oooh that looks awesome! I love how a simple animation like that can look so cool too Quote
DysPatch Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 I always wanted to create moving floor tiles, but the portal 2 videos made me finaly do it. http://ultradr3mer.bplaced.net/MyHomepa ... x_clus.jpg wow you made that in blender? awesome stuff. Quote
ultradr3mer Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 for sure i did all my stuf in blender... but the colors indicate nothing for now the vertical ones are blue and the lifted yellow, the portals didnt work on them because they dont work on models in general. now i took a func_brush and parented them on to the models, wich means that it works now. ElectroSheep Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 That give me some motivation to try to make some portal mecanisme with maya. Just have to learn the smd export. Quote

Marcos Posted June 26, 2010 Author Report Posted June 26, 2010 yay a cabin! Some things i noticed: - Logs seems way to large - Walls seems too flat - Loose the upper metal part (texture) of the cabin as it dosnt seem to fit Just looked up a ref pic for you, it would also be very cool if you did the grass thing on the roof, though the setting would need to be more forest like: other than that: cosy Quote
