Pericolos0 Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 your probably right aevirex, i dont know the technical details that much, except that almost every deferred renderer i see these days renders shadows nicely i made some signs that I'm going to place around everywhere! I might work them out a bit more, depending on how well you will see them in the shots. Quote
Spellbinder Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 Hahaha good game on those signs btw i think i missed it but for what game is this map? Quote
Skacky Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 I guess it's for Unreal Tournament 3 since it's made with UnrealEd. Nice job on the signs. Quote
Phobos Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Hot Shit Peri. Spammage fo' sho Screens of a Gears of War single player level I'm working on. Its not complete yet. I should be complete within the year with my work schedule. Quote
Spellbinder Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 They are way to dark for me, but i know it is my crappy monitor. In anyway i allways have a soft spot for innovated and creational people so well done in any way. If they are great it is great, if you get hursh critism and such you still put a lot of work in it to be proud of and you can only go forward in your adventures. Quote
Buddy Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 I guess it's for Unreal Tournament 3 since it's made with UnrealEd. Nice job on the signs. That's his entry for Unearthly Challange Quote
Pericolos0 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 thats cool phobos =). What kind of scripting are you setting up in there if you want to show it off? made lampposts and something that sort off looks like a mailbox/terminal/vent that you can hardly see in this pic =) Quote
Phobos Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Most of the scripting is nothing special. Enemy spawning, combat advancement, and cinematic cut scenes. I left the actors in the screens for two reason. Applying for a designer position at a local studio, would like to show all process. Also I mentor students at the Vancouver Film School. I want to have some examples to show them when we're talking about specific questions they have. Had a class last night and something about how to layout scripts in a level came up. Quote

omega322 Posted November 9, 2008 Report Posted November 9, 2008 your probably right aevirex, i dont know the technical details that much, except that almost every deferred renderer i see these days renders shadows nicely i made some signs that I'm going to place around everywhere! I might work them out a bit more, depending on how well you will see them in the shots. I Love it! Those signs just changed my mental aspect of the level, it wen't from "abandond city" to "abandond city, Becuase Of a failed Expeiment O_o?" Quote
Sindwiller Posted November 9, 2008 Report Posted November 9, 2008 Yeah, well, Periscorp didn't turn out as hip as it should've been, eh mate? Quote
