D3ads Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 BJA: Nice fucking work man, you never fail to impress me whatever style you go with! Nurb: Looks really cool, I like prison maps Quote
Pericolos0 Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 I've been working on modular pieces for my unearthly challenge entry =). Here's a fullbright shot from max: soon to go into crysis engine! More coming soon =) Quote
Sindwiller Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 Looks rad I'd add a little bit of texture variations here and there - I'm sure that you've planned that already though Quote
AlexM Posted September 30, 2008 Report Posted September 30, 2008 SO I got a bit of an issue here. I've enabled fog in both the map and skybox, but the fog doesnt seem to be affecting the empty space inside the skybox which looks really weird. Is there any ways to get a haze between the player and the skybox so it doesnt look so weird? here's what I'm talking about Quote
Minos Posted September 30, 2008 Report Posted September 30, 2008 Yup that's a Source flaw. You need to match the fog color with the predominant color in the skybox in order to get a natural transition. Quote

You need to match the fog color with the predominant color in the skybox in order to get a natural transition. So my only real recourse is to use a new skybox that's essentially very cloudy and color matches the fog? Quote
Thrik Posted September 30, 2008 Report Posted September 30, 2008 No — you can change the fog's colour to whatever you want. You have a relatively flat blue in your skybox so it shouldn't be difficult to get them to convincingly match up in this case. Quote

Pericolos0 Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 I decided not to work with crysis anymore, this editor is crashing so much it's only going to help me miss the deadline! So I will be constructing my scene in unreal3 which i'm a bit more familiar with. Here's something i quickly threw together: I'm going to pick up the pace on this now, and will probably have someone join the team next week =) Quote
-HP- Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 Looking good, needs more plastic tho! Quote
El Moroes Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 Yep, I like your architecture and the textures are fine! I'm impatient to see more! Quote
