I tried to get some more experience in creating textures and models, so the mapping isn't that exciting Have one end of the subway smashed to shit and map the destruction maybe? Slightly cliche (just a bit) but can be undeniably effective for a cool looking map. Other alternatives include working subway trains that move on schedule to show off scripting, or a sekrit base (also slightly cliched) hidden via an entrance down a tunnel. I plan to include working trains next. Other than that there will be more traces of use, e.g. rubber on the floor Quote

Nexus Posted July 19, 2008 Report Posted July 19, 2008 updated my old map de_hogsatra by adding some more models and areas to extend the outdoor area. I've worked for 2 - 3 days..i have not touched this map since like one year ago. same map.. and here i tried with HDR and bloom but it fucked more map up then made it look what I wanted it too look like. and the textures you can see on the walls, the floor and other places - I made them in VTFEdit. will release beta 2 on 31 dec if ALL goes well. And no my map has nothing to do with the map "warpath" in TFC / TF2. Only the game mode and the name are the same. It's a infantry only map and easy plus linear as hell. 5 Capture points in one giant space station on a asteroid or a small moon. :megaman: Quote
