JynxDaddy Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 vary good kungfu, one of my favourite ns maps Quote
Erratic Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 I like the ceiling, how the only things visible are few little random panel lights. You'll probably change that though. Looks neat anyway. Quote
ReNo Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 Ooooh thats coming on really well now andrew, a nice clean techy environment, something that too may people seem afraid of trying. One concern though - are those chairs facing a plain wall? Quote

Looks neat anyway. Actually, I like that too. I think it's a hair too dark (where it's almost black), but I like keeping some stuff hidden up there. I think that'll work very well when I start dropping in more wires and pipes and such. And Reno: Nope, here's the other angle: Some nice modular consoles to use there. Needs some more screens up high, though. Quote
D3ads Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 I'll say it again, it looks so much like a scene from System Shock 2 KFS, this is a good thing I guess? Of course if you make it all dark it'll look D3 Quote
Alf-Life Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 Found a few minutes tonight to fiddle. You found enough time to fiddle and make a map? Quote
Campaignjunkie Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 You found enough time to fiddle and make a map? BA-DUM-cchhh! Looking good. Just needs more crates. Quote
von*ferret Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 lah blah blah campaign junkie lets see your stuff I know you have something to show Quote
mike-0 Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 the yellow railing does not fit in at all, make that blue and your map will look like sex. Quote
Zacker Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 Looks as great as expected KFS! It is visible that this is the D3 engine, but I like what you did to not make it look like a clone. The textures and not so dark lighting fits it well. Regarding the almost pitch black ceiling, I do not really like that. It is not that bad here, but in D3 there was really a bunch of places which were just pitch black and looking disgusting. Just as the cables in HL2, they are also pitch black which also sucks big time. Quote

curman Posted July 22, 2005 Report Posted July 22, 2005 Nice mike, for a quick second I thought it was a real photo, the only thing I'd improve on, is your pavement seems way to raised for the ground. I'd work on displacement of having the ground/terrien even, and sorta covering up over the sides of the pavement. Like on the coast maps. Quote
