⌐■_■ Posted July 13, 2007 Report Posted July 13, 2007 Sex. BTW, did you make those windows transparant somehow? Quote
Bic-B@ll Posted July 13, 2007 Report Posted July 13, 2007 looks really good, the sides to the seats have to go though, they're huge Quote
SnipaMasta Posted July 13, 2007 Report Posted July 13, 2007 I thought that the train would look too clean without the litter, perhaps just a little less of it will work rather than cut it out completely? Sorry, I should have been more descriptive. I mean the outlines around it are very noticable and it sticks out. Probably an engine limitation though, maybe you could put them on the floor texture or something so they blend a bit better? Quote
D3ads Posted July 13, 2007 Report Posted July 13, 2007 BTW, did you make those windows transparant somehow? You mean on the train outside? It's just a texture overlayed with the windows on a black background and set to additive, makes them glow. looks really good, the sides to the seats have to go though, they're huge They're not *that* bad are they? They have to fit the railings model, if I make them any smaller the model would float! Took me bloody ages to scale this all right. Maybe someone would like to edit the model to combat that? Sorry, I should have been more descriptive. I mean the outlines around it are very noticable and it sticks out. Probably an engine limitation though, maybe you could put them on the floor texture or something so they blend a bit better? Yeah that's good old HL's aliasing unfortunately, when rendering a { (transparent) texture. I could use a decal but it'd have to be a lot smaller than the one I'm using, since you can't scale decals down in HL. The screenshot itself actually has 8x anti-aliasing enabled. As you may have guessed, there's a subway in the works to go with the train, those of you who've read my portfolio will know I <3 subways Quote
Quakis Posted July 14, 2007 Report Posted July 14, 2007 those of you who've read my portfolio will know I <3 subways Obsessed is a more likely word. But so far it's some good stuff, keep at it. Quote
dissonance Posted July 14, 2007 Report Posted July 14, 2007 don't mind the placeholder textures, custom ones on the way, via method's method. heh. also, what causes this? new drivers don't seem to get rid of it. Quote
Quakis Posted July 14, 2007 Report Posted July 14, 2007 Nice clean structuring you've got there. Quote

Coen Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 Might be just me, but that bridge looks a bit akward to me. Either make it straight the whole way or sloped, but not both IMO Quote
Albatros Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 It's been about time I got my HDR working again... I've been asked to design a level for a different mod a while ago, so I'm only working on this dod-babe one day per week. Thoughts so far? Quote
