Gorion Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 looks nice (and a bit to dark on my monitor) Quote
JamesL Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 The floor screams Silent Hill at me (in a good way). Quote
TeddyBear Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 Yes, excellent texture work! The leaves look quite realistic, as do the floor of course Quote
Rick_D Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 The lighting doesn't make a lot of sense though - the sky is pale blue up top (and the rays show that it's noon-ish) but the area outside is blown out totally and yellow? It looks nice, texture-wise, but looks very black/white. Nice though. Quote

So going for atmosphere more than proper realism. *edit* Latest version. Quote
Zacker Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 Looks good tomdon, but I see 3 issues(and solutions): - Textures need to be aligned properly on the inenr arches. Alt+right click is your friend here. - The "broken" pieces of the upper wall texture got some visible tiling. Work with your geometry to hide it. - The transition between your lower and upper wall texture is way too sharp. Blend the two textures together better. Quote

Wesley Tack Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 Tomdom, looks really cool, looks kinda STALKER-isch Dodger, what the hell is such a big overhead crane doing in that small ass tunnel with nothing heavy to lift ? Quote
mjens Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 tomdom: I love that way to build env. I allways liked destroyed structures Waiting for final ver. maybe some dirt textures are a bit weird alignet but for a 1st look it looks great! (one of few exeptions that I like from new maps ) dodger: nice job too. clear hallway, shadow are a bit weird I mean don't know what is casting that shadows and what is hanging on the cenrer position of player running Quote
D3ads Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 tomdon: Looks like it's straight out of a Silent Hill game, awesome stuff Quote
Erratic Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 Something I've been fooling with for dod in between other stuff...Still pretty wip, lots of odds and ends to finish up. Quote
