DelaZ Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 In the 3rd shot, the pallet has a noticeable shadow -- is there a streetlight above (that we can't see) causing this? The shadow looks a little too crisp if being caused from a more distant light source. Great mood, though, overall! Never worked with the source engine before? The shadows aren't caused by lights in the environment, they're all from a set angle (I assume whatever angle light_env is?). That's why you get this kind of thing happening. Actually those shadows under the pallet only apply to dynamic props and player models and are configured with a seperate entity. This entity let you chose the angle of where the shadow will appear below the object. This has nothing to do with the light_env. Quote

Quakis Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 I don't like the way the textures blend. Actually, I feel there's no blend mostly due to that dark, murky brown texture used on the right of the screen. I also agree with Dradz about that wall texture too. Quote
