Hah, awesome man. I have no idea how you did that in Hammer (unless you exported it from max or something).

Maybe you could do some more interesting things with the lighting, seems a bit like you're not using the location to its full potential. Donno if some more prominent shadow would screw with the brushwork, you never know with HL :)

Anyway, cool :)

So when are you going to teach us this torus magic, JeanPaul? :)

I plan on making a very extensive torus tutorial very soon :D

For me, it all goes to shit when I try and make them curve.

Nice but I agree with mazzle; the scene has some very special geometry but the lighting is dull. Also, just what in the fuck is it except a chance for you to show off what you can do?

Yours looks better than my attempt to use PhilK's textures. :cool: I'll post some screens of my shitty wip later.

EDIT: actually, I think I'll scrap it and start fresh.

Awesome stuff guys!

Josch: Your textures are nice but the perspective is off the wall, like Ferret said, it's like looking at some sort of messed up labyrinth. Other than that, the map looks pretty good, nice gondola props :)
