atrocity Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Why because it does not have trim and curves? hehe just messin. I think his purpose was to make falling water, and did a damn good job of it. who cares if the rest is ugly. Keep up the good work on your building badger, can't wait to see the changes and see it done Quote

Skjalg Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 Looks empty? Not a big fan of vehicle maps myself, but it does look a little empty even for that... Quote

i3ad Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 ^^ahh that jungle map reminds me of an old jungle map that i started some month ago ... worked 1 day on it lol Quote
⌐■_■ Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 oh that doesnt look too bad. are you going to work on that some more? boston looks fine. really clean and well balanced. im not sure if i like the clean part, id try to make it more 'lived out'. add trash etc, to make the scene less of a designed playground and more like an immersive city. i like the colours though! michi, i think your map looks ok but i think you could get much more out of it. it has alot of potential to be an atmospheric scene! i suggest adding houses, farm objects and more trees. maybe even a broken wall, ruin, rock, etc. etc. i like the colours and the raw looks of it! michi.be Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 hehe guys. i thought this is a WIP thread here. of course it looks empty. i just started . busy with modelling, becasue the editor is model based only. no fancy brushes. the editor make the grass stuck into the ground. thats the "sandbag" effect. ingame you will not see it. the rock idea is col. there is a small lake there too and a farmhouse which i modelled. if i made more progress i will ppost more here. Lois_Must_Die Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Meh, I return with more rain-soaked Asian stuff. Billboards to be replaced with, you know, not-so-self-referencial type stuff once I learn how to make good textures. One free internet to whoever guess what this is for. Quote
