Minos Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 indeed its been sharpened. sadly it wasnt my decision to sharpen screenshots. i wouldnt have done that. the unedited ingame shot is detailled enough so theres no need to fake anything (on the other hand i dont think its faking really) thanks for the kind comments. some mappers might also have noticed that tje shots are of different versions. theres more fog in one than in the other one. changed the settings edit: the floor texture isnt blurry at all. its 1024² pxl ownage by PHILIPK! seriously.. its amazing ingame. is it rescaled to 0.125 or something ? ginsengavenger Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Neotic I think your map is a really good start but it's got that "early map" syndrome: overscaling and open spaces. It looks and sounds like the map is based on a real place, is that so? This is the usual result of building something to a realistic scale--the result comes out feeling too big and too empty, and filling it in with props never fixes that. Quote
