ALien 4 and AVP was a MISTAKE

for the prequel, i just can't wait and i'm not afraid, some part of me is sure it will have that Alien/s feel and story

The first two are must-see movies. The 3rd, 4th, and AVP movies are better left unseen.

I disagree, you should watch 3 and 4 just to give you a reality check on how good the first two are.

Long time ago since I saw 4, but I really never liked it. 3 I've warmed up to in later years, at least after I saw the Directors Cut, it does make quite a big difference in it's case.

For me the order of best movies in the series is completely chronological tho, 1-2-3-4.
