Jetsetlemming Posted July 28, 2009 Report Posted July 28, 2009 http://www.gamespot.com/pc/adventure/bi ... eview.html If you're playing with a mouse and keyboard, you'll also need to work around the onscreen button prompts, which assume you're playing with an Xbox 360 controller. Unforgivable. I hear good things about Rearmed, though. The trailer on Steam's pretty badass. Quote

Deathy Posted July 28, 2009 Report Posted July 28, 2009 BLALBALABLA I hear good things about Rearmed, though. The trailer on Steam's pretty badass. QQ: Hah yea, I would have loved to buy this game one year ago.. I couldn't. Steam was the only plattform where I could have been able to get it but Capcom and Valve didn't agree.. great. I tried d2d and the Capcom online shop, both did not sell the game to any other country than USA or Canada.. It's just fucking ridiculous. I lost interest due to this and didn't bother checking online distribution shops if it was available to me later. Now, one year later I'm getting finally the chance to buy it.. wow. really awesome deal there Capcom. :ssj: SRS: Awesome! Quote
Jetsetlemming Posted July 28, 2009 Author Report Posted July 28, 2009 It's only ten bux at least, and from everything I hear it's an actual good port that has options and buttons and shit. Quote
Erratic Posted July 29, 2009 Report Posted July 29, 2009 Rearmed was worth it for the challenge rooms alone. If there's one single thing the full retail BC missed, it's challenge rooms. Goddam, I'd pay stupid amounts for that DLC if it ever showed up. Quote
-HP- Posted July 29, 2009 Report Posted July 29, 2009 I just bought it on steam... gonna give it my first try on the lunch hour. good thing we all have xbox360 controllers here. Quote
Warby Posted July 29, 2009 Report Posted July 29, 2009 having a 360 controller on your pc is fucking LAW !!! everybody must have one !!! that being said: pc games that don't have onscreen prompts for the proper keyboard keys as alternatives = EPIC FAIL ! Quote
-HP- Posted July 29, 2009 Report Posted July 29, 2009 Oh my.. just gave it a brief try, I'm still in the first level after completing the tutorial, and it plays reeealy nice! fun fun fun! Quote
Jetsetlemming Posted July 29, 2009 Author Report Posted July 29, 2009 having a 360 controller on your pc is fucking LAW !!! everybody must have one !!! I hate the 360 controller. I have a Logitech gamepad and am perfectly fine with that. Quote

Gloglebag Posted July 29, 2009 Report Posted July 29, 2009 The game can be brilliant, but the save/continue system is infuriating, and the radiation should have been done better, it kills you way to fast and there are to many times where it's not really clear you can't go somewhere. Quote
madgernader Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 I bought it on 360 a few days back, I'm really enjoying it. Although I was a bit bummed that I couldn't get a ps3 version (bought from a local shop that wasn't getting any more copies in) as I already have rearmed on ps3, and I don't know if the linkability is worth another $10.. I agree on the radiation too, its really bad when there's collectibles right on the edge so you die attempting to collect them Quote
Taylor Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 Sounds like they but more effort into it than the Devil May Cry 3 and Resident Evil 4 ports. Heh. Can't say I'm a fan of the 360 controller, though I would play this with a joypad on the PC. Quote
