Jenn0_Bing Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Is it possible to make a prop that can gib but the gibs or a gib are static are static. What i want is a wall mounted TV that when shot gibs, but i need the body of the TV to stay stationary on the wall. I don't know if this is possible in hammer, but Ive tried some different things in compiling the prop that haven't worked. Any help would be appreciated. Even if it's just a clear no. Quote
Pampers Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 yes its possible, just look at some of the breakable props in cs_office Quote
Bluestrike Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 I only made one breakable prop and thats been a while, but you could make the part that stays in one piece a seperate model thats a physics prop and a input enablebing motion on the break output of the gibbed model asuming they have a break output like func_breakable. When following Pampers advice, check in the model browser if those props are in once piece, if they are, it can also be done with QC commands, otherwise its probably using the medthod I mentioned Quote
