Spellbinder Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 http://www.inentertainment.co.uk/200907 ... r-onboard/ World of Warcraft Movie: Spider-Man’ Director Onboard I don't know how old this is. Quote
Seldoon182 Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Blizzard sold the rights to Legendary Pictures in 2006 who finally find a director! Quote
Squirrelly Posted July 24, 2009 Report Posted July 24, 2009 Am I the only one that thinks this movie is going to kick complete ass? Like... has anyone actually realized that this is the creator of the EVIL FUCKING DEAD series? I doubt Blizzard would hire a team such as this with plans at making a horrible ass movie. I guarantee they're taking every precaution in the world in insuring its nothing short of epic. ... oh hi everyone. Quote
Skjalg Posted July 24, 2009 Report Posted July 24, 2009 If they sold the rights, do blizzard got anything to do with the movie still? Quote
Squirrelly Posted July 24, 2009 Report Posted July 24, 2009 Chris Metzen of Blizzard is a co-producer, so I'm sure they have a lot of say. Quote
Nysuatro Posted July 24, 2009 Report Posted July 24, 2009 I guess there are going to make the film first 3 times before making the finale. Quote
Sindwiller Posted July 29, 2009 Report Posted July 29, 2009 Theoretically, if you made a movie out of Warcraft 1/2/3, it might be slightly interesting, however making up a random story inside a MMO universe doesn't really have the same spice imho I don't really care about video game films anyway, same with video games for films. Whatever they come up with I take it for granted that it won't be anything compelling. EDIT: I should play WC2 again though Quote
Izuno Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 I have to admit that as a former WoW player (yes i went back and got my druid up to lvl80..hung out a while then quit again) I secretly hope that WoW becomes a film trilogy that is pure awesomeness. Legendary made the new Batman films awesome, why not go all out and do the same for WoW? Quote
