Mazy Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 It's a turnbased squad game set just after WW2 in an alternate history or something like that. It had fully destructible enviroments, ragdolls (that was major back then!) and lots of other cool shit. It's sort of like UFO Xcom, with nazis and ragdolls. Dude, yeah. I played that A LOT, even though my computer at the time could barely handle it. Remember getting single digit framerates in the last turns of every match (When everything had been fucked up). Oh good times, those guys should definitely have been handed the X-Com IP and have em do their thing. Quote
sarge mat Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Yea I know, but I feel like it only gets recognised as a great looking game when it’s a REALLY REALLY good shooter too. Quote
jaboo224 Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Yeah i totally loved crysis!!! the tank part was the bomb ! Quote
Nysuatro Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 yeah. playing warhead at the moment and loving the combat. Quote
Duff-e Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 jurassic park lost work WAS awesome...good memories was fun, don't know if it was underrated...but I was the only person I knew playing it I was looking for a different car game where you could crash into anything and the more you destroyed the more points you got. the cover had a yellow pickup truck with black pinstripes. anyway, this came up and brought back good memories, though definitely not underrated. I probably spent more time driving in the wrong direction in this game than any other. not underrated but definitely under-appreciated I think. I've yet to talk to a single "video game buff" irl who heard of shenmue. maybe cause it was on dreamcast? Quote

I've yet to talk to a single "video game buff" irl who heard of shenmue. maybe cause it was on dreamcast? Definitely under appreciated. Although I usually show my love for it in a fairly sarcastic way, then it was way ahead of its time in many areas, still angers me that they couldn't at least have made a third game to wrap it up. Fucking Yu Suzuki and his 10 game long epic :G Oh! Quote
-HP- Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 Someone rename this thread to post your favourit classics that might or might not be underrated games. everybody loved destruction derby, and it sold like shit on ps1 Quote
