Rick_D Posted November 23, 2011 Report Posted November 23, 2011 a lot of people like that kind of thing. faggots, mostly. Quote
Thrik Posted November 23, 2011 Report Posted November 23, 2011 I thought it was cool when I first saw this kind of thing with BioShock's Big Daddy statue, but since then they seem to have gotten lower in quality and far too common. I haven't bought any because where the hell are you meant to put the massive collectables that practically every game seems to have nowadays? Quote
Serenius Posted November 23, 2011 Report Posted November 23, 2011 what's with teh fucking statues in CEs lately? do people actually buy that shit? i mean if it was a t shirt or something i could understand it, but statues? really? How could you not like this? Quote
Thrik Posted November 23, 2011 Report Posted November 23, 2011 Yeah, that is exactly the kind of thing I'd keep well hidden in some box. Not that I'm against dragons or anything. I have this in my living room: Quote

D3ads Posted November 24, 2011 Author Report Posted November 24, 2011 Nice interview, it's good to see that they're staying true to the franchise and they know what they're doing (though it's Rockstar so I'd expect nothing less). My only concern is that there's no sight of any graphic novel pages, which was one of MP's key story-telling features, I guess they could be keeping that deliberately quiet.. I just hope they have included them. Quote

Thrik Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 The graphic novels were great but I don't consider them a must-have part of the experience. I think the concept could be modernised a little and still be just as effective; I've often seen something in films where they take live action shots and freeze them, but they move really slowly in slow motion. I think Watchmen dicked around with this a bit? That's something I reckon could work great with Max Payne 3's engine. With that said, my personal feeling is we're going to get traditional cutscenes with emphasis on film noir-style cinematography. Edit: This kind of shit... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v34hQQz7GvY Quote
Mazy Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 Seems like the natural evolution of the series to do more with the movement of the character and how he poses~ Quote
Puddy Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 Oh please tell me the story, characters and atmosphere will be polished to be on par with previous games... because that gameplay looks satisfying as fuck and it would be a shame if the rest of the game wasn't up to scratch. Quote
El Moroes Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 I was not sure about this new version of Max Payne but now...I'll watch it more carefully. Quote
