D3ads, although your ranting is nice to read and I understand where you are coming from, then it seems that what you hate the most about salvation is the fact that the future is not like it was depicted in t1/t2.

Have you ever considered that this is not the future that was depicted in t1/t2?

I dont really consider myself a terminator "fan". I enjoyed the movies (except the 3rd... for me the only thing that was good was that half naked chick ;D)

However i probably enjoyed Terminator Salvation more than the others in terms of being entertained. I thought they did a pretty good job of showing us a scale and was a pretty cool action movie. I really loved the effects. To me this was just a really cool action movie. I liked bales take on john conner. There was only 2 things that bugged me about the movie: 1. The retarded jump sam worthingtons character does with the axe (reminded me of the retarded jump off of reign of fire). 2. The retarded sony device conner uses.... That thing looked so overly done for a resistance group that somewhat looks poor technology wise.
