e-freak Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 Hey there, dunno if it's the right sub-board but I'm currently working on a model of the crashed airship on Mos Eisley (see picture for specific scene) and I can't get a hang on more pictures or higher res pictures of that damn wrack, which makes it kind of hard pointing out details and the guys from star wars battlefront did the worst job in the world recreating that model so it's not a help either to look at theyr approach. I was thinking of using submarine references as well or old ww2 planes as the materials seem to work very simmilar but that still doesn't help too much on the detail forms of that pile. Anyone having some magic resource or a good idea what extra resources to use? Edit: The Name of the ship is "Dowager Queen" but well Google research for that is complete nonesense (and Jah Dowahga Kwee-Kunee doesn't response anything at all) http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/starw ... n_BFRS.jpg Quote
2d-chris Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 is there any reason your modeling something that is hard to find good reference for? Sure it looks cool but there has to be 1 million other cool things in starwars Quote
Nysuatro Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 What I mostly do is search inf for geekforums about the suject. And most of the time there are a lot of pictures there that you will not find on those picturesearchsites. Quote
