-HP- Posted February 20, 2010 Author Report Posted February 20, 2010 What DRM does this use? Steam i can run crysis maxed out at 1920x1200 with 2xAA No, you can't! (not in very high and at acceptable FPS's) Quote
D3ads Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 Not fucking Steam again? I'm so tired of having to find cracks just to play the bastard SP campaign offline.. Quote
dux Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 What is wrong with you? steam is fine. It's not great but better than most. Quote
hkon Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 Not fucking Steam again? I'm so tired of having to find cracks just to play the bastard SP campaign offline.. Offline? lol Anyway, this game delivers. The radar still scares the shit out of me, and i'm a grown up now. Well at least I used to think my father was a grown up when he was my age. Quote

D3 still refuses to have his gaming PC on the internet I agree hkon, i'm going through the marine campaign at the moment and find it pretty scary. I love the Alien franchise and while there have been a couple of bad films, this game so far has stuck to the original films roots. The AI is pretty random...it's almost like they switch off when an encounter nears the end so you're left on your own. Quote
D3ads Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 D3 still refuses to have his gaming PC on the internet Bingo! It's a personal preference, one that i should be allowed to keep with, Steamworks pisses me off for this reason. Quote

Ginger Lord Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 At least its not mega retarded like Silent Hunter 5 and some new Ubi games that require you to be connected to the internet to play SP, if your connection drops you get booted out the game, without saving. Quote

D3ads Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 I know! You don't call.. you don't write... you're never on here anymore! etc.. Actually my dad's getting a new quad core machine delivered this week so I could "borrow" it to play new games, he's got a Radeon 5750 or something like that, all the paperwork for the card has AVP advertised everywhere so I guess it's ok I'll be getting a new one myself sometime, but not yet... Point taken Gingerlord, plus GFWL which is utter fail. At least EA have dropped the Securom where you only get 5 installs. Anyone know if you can get Dead Space on PC without that enabled anymore btw? Quote

I know I never had issues playing HL2 on my laptop without an internet connection after the initial validation. Quote
