JoshuaC
*Note: poster isn't final* Download Mirrors Beta 2 is out! Fully VPK'd and ready for online play!. http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=1125 http://www.l4dmods.com/index.php?option ... kageId=371 Additional mirrors coming soon! The Readme --- Bedroom Survival Beta 2 --- How long will you be able to survive against the pint sized denizens that hide under the bed and in the closet? --- How to Install --- Extract the .vpk to any folder of your liking and double click on it to install. --- How to Play --- Create a match as you would normally but when selecting a campaign, select "Add-on Campaign" and select "Bedroom Survival Beta 2" and then play as you normally would. To play with bots, open up the developer console and type "mp_gamemode survival" without the ""s and then type "map l4d_sv_bedroom_b2" without the ""s. Set off the alarm clock to start the timer. --- Changes from Beta 1 --- Added several models to replace the some of the ladders. You can now fall down on the side of the bed facing the window. Fixed TV disappearing bug. I had hoped to have more changes done but those will just have to wait till Beta 3. --- Future Plans --- At some point I plan on replacing all the ladders with more appropriate household items. Add more platforms and areas to camp out on --- Known Bugs --- Occasionally bots get stuck on the ladders. I'm still tweaking the nav to smooth them out. Models will sometimes turn into "ERROR" models. Restart the game to fix this. I'm not sure what's causing it. popcornjake
So how exactly did you achieve this? Playing around with proportions or by building everything quite large?
JoshuaC
So how exactly did you achieve this? Playing around with proportions or by building everything quite large? Just scaled the models and brushes by a common percent. After that it was just like making an ordinary room.
