Bump - just another juicy detail that came out of the still ongoing legal battle between Take 2 and 3D Realms: Remember that mysterious "Duke Begins" title, which is supposedly in development by an external, well-known developer? Apparently that was/is Gearbox!

November 30, 2009 - It appears the Duke Nukem saga will never end.

A new Duke Nukem Facebook page, believed to be started by 3D Realms owner and founder Scott Miller, posted a new teaser image from an unannounced game titled "D-Day." This is either the resurrection of the infamous Duke Nukem Forever (again) or a completely new title.

According to Duke4.Net, Miller confirmed he created the page and recently updated on his personal Facebook profile that he viewed a trailer with former 3D Realms employee, saying "the trailer rocks," but never revealing its title.

Miller also recently began teasing a big announcement, saying "Something big and unexpected will soon be announced."

Duke Nukem D-Day was originally planned for release on PlayStation 2 before being scrapped in 2003.

We contacted both Miller and publisher Take-Two for comment, but have not recent word back in time.

um... horray...? :-|
